This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area around Windkogel. The trail has a total distance of 2.466 kilometers and an elevation gain of 207 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels. The estimated duration for the hike is approximately 1 hour and 5 minutes.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Thoralm alpine hut just 0.02 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This is a great spot to take a rest and enjoy the mountain views. Along the way, you will also find an information point, Parkplatz 4 / Thoralm, which provides useful information about the area.

Midway through the hike, you will reach a saddle point located 0.72 kilometers from the start. From here, you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Continuing on, you will reach the Windkogel peak at 1.23 kilometers from the start. This is the highlight of the hike, offering breathtaking views at the summit.
