Welcome to the Chemin de Grand Rebossan hiking route!
Located in a beautiful area, this challenging 9.291-kilometer long trail offers a total elevation gain of 760 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike for experienced adventurers.
As you start your journey, you'll come across the Cave Girard-Madoux parking area, serving as the trailhead for your adventure. Along the way, you'll encounter several points of interest. At 3.22 kilometers into the hike, you'll find the Grotte de l'Ermite, a cave entrance located just a short distance from the trail, offering a unique sight to explore.
Continuing on, at 4.12 kilometers, you'll reach the Croix de Tormery, a historic wayside cross, and nearby, the Rocher de Tormery viewpoint and peak, providing stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area.
As you make your way back, be sure to stop by Les Petits Bois at 2.49 kilometers, an information point showcasing the natural beauty of the area. Additionally, at the beginning of the trail, you'll find informative signs at Tormery, giving you insights into the local history and environment.
