Hiking : Pic de l'Œilly

This hiking route will take you to the beautiful Pic de l'Œilly area. The trail is approximately 5.178 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 261 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike. It is estimated to take around 1 hour and 51 minutes to complete.

Starting at the parking area, you will head towards the Réserve naturelle du Luitel, which is located about 0.3 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. As you continue on, you will pass by the Col Luitel saddle at the beginning of the trail, adding a unique feature to your hike.

Further along the route, approximately 1.71 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Col de Poussebœuf, another interesting point of interest along the trail. Continue onwards to reach the peak of Pic de l'Œilly, which is approximately 2.59 kilometers from the starting point. Here, you will be treated to stunning views of the surrounding area.

Along the way, you will also come across the Maison de la Réserve information center and a fountain for a refreshing break. Make sure to bring an ample supply of water, as well as snacks, and dress appropriately for the weather. It is always a good idea to check the forecast before embarking on your hike.

After enjoying the sights at the peak, you will retrace your steps back along the same route to return to the starting point. Be sure to take your time, enjoy the scenery, and stay safe on your hiking adventure.
