Starting at the designated parking area at the trailhead, hikers will first encounter a wilderness hut known as Baraque du Colon, situated 1.7 kilometers from the start. This rustic accommodation provides a unique resting spot amidst the wilderness. Continuing along the trail, at around 2.52 kilometers from the beginning, hikers will come across the historic wayside cross called Croix Pourroy, adding a cultural touch to the natural surroundings.
