This hiking route will take you along the Chemin de Saint-Nizier Charvet in Sassenage, starting at an elevation of 208 meters and ending at 855 meters. The total distance of the route is 6.887 kilometers with an elevation gain of 648 meters, so it is a moderately challenging hike with some steep sections.
As you begin your hike, you will find parking areas nearby for your convenience. The trail will lead you through a picturesque landscape with benches for resting along the way. After about 1 kilometer, you will come across the D.J. Face climbing spot, where you can enjoy some rock climbing if you're feeling adventurous.
Continuing on, at a distance of 2 kilometers, you will find another climbing area called Ferrière, offering more challenges for climbers. Additionally, there is a bicycle parking area at this point for cyclists.
