This extremely difficult hiking route will take you on a 13.903-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 1569 meters to the stunning Punta Sulè in the area. The hike is expected to last around 7 hours and 8 minutes, so be sure to pack enough water and snacks for the excursion.
You will start your adventure at the Rifugio Vulpot alpine hut, where you can enjoy a picturesque view of the surroundings before embarking on the trail. Along the way, you will pass by the beautiful Lago di Malciaussia, a water body just 0.07 kilometers away from the starting point.
As you continue on the trail, you will encounter the refreshing Lago della Lera situated 4.35 kilometers from the start, perfect for a moment of relaxation. Further ahead, at the 3.1-kilometer mark, you will find a spring where you can refill your water supply.
At the midway point of the hike, approximately 5.95 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Punta Sulè. This is a great spot to take in the breathtaking panoramic views of the area and snap some memorable photos.
During your journey, you will also come across picnic sites for a well-deserved break, and drinking water stations to stay hydrated along the trail. Be mindful of your energy levels, as this hike is challenging due to its length and elevation gain.
