This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route will take you through the stunning Ludwigsburger Grat area, offering a total distance of 15.259 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1789 meters. The hike is estimated to take around 8 hours.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Ludwigsburger Hütte alpine hut, located approximately 3.08 kilometers from the trail's beginning. This is a great spot to rest and refuel before continuing your trek. Further along the trail, at around 6.21 kilometers from the start, you'll find the Hoher Gemeindekopf peak, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding area.
