This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Morro das Aranhas. The trail is 4.117 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 227 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
As you start your journey, you will come across a convenient parking area just 10 meters from the trailhead. This is a great spot to leave your vehicle before starting the hike. As you continue on, at 0.66 kilometers from the start, you will find the Rancho do Pescador restaurant where you can grab a bite to eat and refuel for the rest of the hike.
Further along the trail, at 0.94 kilometers from the start, you will encounter an archaeological site. Take some time to explore and learn about the history of the area before continuing on your hike. At 0.98 kilometers from the start, there is a shelter where you can take a break and enjoy the scenery.
Around the 1.06 kilometer mark, you will come across the Esculturas Homens de Ferro artwork, a unique sight to see along the trail. Additionally, there are two viewpoints along the way, one at 0.98 kilometers and the other at 1.06 kilometers from the start, where you can take in stunning panoramic views of the surroundings.
The highlight of the hike is reaching Morro das Aranhas, a peak located 2.06 kilometers from the start. Once you reach the summit, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the area.
