This hiking route will take you to the stunning Peña Bercial area, offering breathtaking views and a challenging hike. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 5.871 kilometers and an elevation gain of 581 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 2 hours and 48 minutes to complete.
As you start your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find parking areas for your convenience. As you venture further, you'll encounter the Fuente de Majavilán spring, a refreshing spot 0.04 kilometers from the start. Continuing on, you'll reach the majestic Peña Bercial peak, located 2.94 kilometers from the start.
Midway through the hike, you'll discover the Fuente del Infante spring and the Collado de Marichiva saddle, providing opportunities to rest and take in the natural beauty of the surroundings. Additionally, you'll find the La calzada romana information point at the starting point of the trail.
It's important to note that while some points of interest are located directly on the trail, others may require a short detour.
