This hike takes you through the beautiful area of דרך עתיקה, offering stunning views and historic sites along the way. With a total distance of 8.973 kilometers and an elevation gain of 133 meters, this route is considered difficult and is estimated to take approximately 2 hours and 24 minutes to complete.

As you start your journey, you will come across חורבת תאנה, an ancient ruins site located just 0.86 kilometers from the trail. Continuing on, you will pass by a parking area at the beginning of the trail to make it easier for you to start your hike.

As you venture further into the hike, you will encounter more historic ruins such as Khirbet Hamam and other archaeological sites along the trail. These ruins are spaced out along the route, with some closer to the beginning and others towards the midway point of the hike.

At around 1.91 kilometers from the start, you will find a drinking water station to refill your water bottles and stay hydrated during your hike.

As you reach the peak at 4.49 kilometers from the start, you will be rewarded with a breathtaking viewpoint overlooking the surrounding area.
