This extremely difficult 13.576-kilometer circular hiking route in the Bena area offers a challenging yet rewarding experience for hikers. With an elevation gain of 1282 meters, this route will take approximately 6 hours and 20 minutes to complete.
As you embark on this journey, you will encounter several points of interest along the trail. At just 2.9 kilometers from the start, you will find a drinking water station to refill your supplies. Further along, at 0.19 kilometers from the trail, you will come across the historic Sant'Antonio wayside shrine, followed by the Madre con Bambino shrine and the Mater Gratie shrine, each 0.18 kilometers from the trail.
Throughout the hike, you will also pass by several other historic shrines such as San Romedio, Madonna con Bambino, and Redenzione. Be sure to take in the cultural significance of these landmarks as you trek through the challenging terrain.
