Welcome to Via Ieranto, a beautiful hiking trail located in a stunning coastal area. The trail is 5.555 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 313 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike. It is estimated to take around 2 hours and 4 minutes to complete.
As you start your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the way. About 0.88 kilometers from the start, you will find a parking area for your convenience. Further along the trail at 0.88 kilometers, there is a drinking water facility called Zaghèra where you can refill your water bottles.
At 2.49 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Torre di Montalto viewpoint, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surroundings. As you continue onwards, at 2.7 kilometers, you will come across the beautiful Spiaggia di Capitiello beach, perfect for a relaxing break.
Around the midpoint of the trail, at 2.78 kilometers, there is a viewpoint that provides a great spot to rest and enjoy the scenery. Towards the end of the trail, at 2.41 kilometers, you will find the Rifugio FAI shelter where you can take a break before heading back.
