The trail begins at Casa Mieres (currently closed), a charming alpine hut nestled in the scenic surroundings. As you embark on your journey, you'll pass by Embalse La Cantarilla, a picturesque water reservoir located just 0.41 kilometers from the start of the trail. Feel free to take a moment to admire the tranquil beauty of the reservoir before continuing on.
As you make your way through the route, you'll come across Fuente de la Hoya, a natural spring located 1.79 kilometers into the hike. This is a great spot to replenish your water supply, so make sure to bring a refillable water bottle with you. Further along the trail, you'll encounter several peaks, including one at 1.25 kilometers and another at 2.69 kilometers from the start. These peaks offer stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, making them perfect photo opportunities.
Additionally, there are several saddles along the route, with one located 0.73 kilometers from the start and another at 0.81 kilometers. These saddle points provide a perfect resting spot where you can take in the natural beauty of the area.
