This hike on the Chemin du Buchberg Haut is a super easy out-and-back route that covers a distance of 1.749 kilometers with an elevation gain of 73 meters. The total duration for this hike is approximately 35 minutes.

Starting at the parking area, you will make your way along the trail, passing by the Aire de pique-nique du Schirm, where you can take a break and enjoy a picnic. Further along the trail, at a distance of 0.07 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Col du Schirm, a beautiful saddle in the natural landscape.

As you continue on, you'll come across an information point where you can learn more about the area. Midway through the hike, at a distance of 0.87 kilometers from the start, you'll find a viewpoint that offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding scenery.

Towards the end of the trail, at a distance of 0.59 kilometers from the start, you'll find the Buchberg peak, although it is slightly off the trail. Additionally, there are benches along the way where you can take a rest and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
