This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Le Réart, offering a challenging and rewarding adventure. With a total distance of 14.113 kilometers and an elevation gain of 393 meters, this hike is labeled as extremely difficult, so be prepared for a strenuous trek.
Starting at the trailhead, you will first encounter La Corbeille, a restaurant located right by the trail for a quick bite before you begin your journey. As you make your way along the path, you will come across several water sources, such as Le Réart, which will be a welcome sight for refilling your water bottles.
About 5.73 kilometers into the hike, you will reach a tranquil water spot off the trail, providing a peaceful area to rest and take in the surroundings. Continuing on, at the 7.02-kilometer mark, you will find another water source close to the trail, offering a convenient spot to rehydrate.
Throughout the hike, you will pass by various parking areas, with one located 1.39 kilometers from the start and another at the 7.02-kilometer mark, providing options for those driving to the trailhead. Additionally, there are shelter facilities approximately 7.01 kilometers into the hike, giving you a place to take a break and relax.
As an out-and-back route, you will retrace your steps on the way back, allowing you to enjoy the scenic views from a different perspective.
