Welcome to the Route de Caixas hiking trail! This moderate 6.559 km out-and-back route offers a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in nature while enjoying a good workout.

Starting off the trail, you'll find parking available nearby at various points, with the closest one being just 30 meters away. As you begin your journey, you'll encounter several water features along the way, perfect for refreshing breaks or simply to admire the natural beauty. Keep an eye out for them at various points along the trail, with some situated as close as 8 meters from the path.

Throughout your hike, you'll experience an elevation gain of 186 meters, providing a good challenge without being too strenuous. The trail is well-marked, ensuring you stay on course, with some water features directly on the path for added convenience.

As you hike further along, you'll reach a point about 1.27 km from the start where you'll find a water feature located just 180 meters off the trail. This is a great spot to take in the surroundings and enjoy a peaceful moment by the water.

Midway through the hike, at approximately 3.28 km from the start, you'll come across another water feature just 8 meters from the trail. This is a perfect opportunity to rest and refuel before heading back.
