This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Sendero Peatonal Atacameño in Vitacura. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 2.687 kilometers and an elevation gain of 144 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

As you start your journey, you'll come across various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you'll find Plaza Antilén, a fast-food spot where you can grab a quick bite before starting your hike. As you progress further, you'll encounter Cerro Los Gemelos, a peak offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, located 1.31 kilometers from the start.

Midway through the trail, you'll come across Mirador Atardecer, a viewpoint situated 1.06 kilometers from the start, providing a perfect spot to take in the sunset or sunrise if you time your hike accordingly. Additionally, there are several benches along the trail where you can take a break and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Towards the end of the route, you'll reach Mirador Vitacura, another viewpoint located 0.85 kilometers from the start, offering awe-inspiring views of the area. As you make your way back, be sure to check out Flora Exótica y Nativa, an information point about the local flora and fauna, situated at the same distance as Mirador Vitacura.
