This extremely difficult hiking route will take you to the stunning Pico de los Veteranos area. The route is an Out-and-back type, spanning a distance of 16.232 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1311.0 meters, and an estimated duration of 7 hours and 2 minutes.
As you embark on this challenging journey, you will come across several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find convenient parking facilities at two separate locations. Further along, you will encounter the picturesque Ibons de Pico Royo, a beautiful natural water feature just 7.2 kilometers from the starting point. Additionally, at a distance of 8.12 kilometers, you will reach the majestic peak known as Pico de los Veteranos.
Along the trail, there are various amenities such as the Refugio de Viadós alpine hut located very close to the trail. This hut provides shelter and services for weary hikers.
