Welcome to the Garagoiti hiking route!

Garagoiti is a beautiful area for hiking, featuring a circular route that spans 4.149 kilometers with an elevation gain of 199 meters, making it an easy trail suitable for all skill levels. The hike is estimated to take around 1 hour and 27 minutes to complete.

As you start your adventure, you'll come across the Izua parking area at the beginning of the trail. Midway through your hike, you'll find the historic battlefield site, located 1.53 kilometers from the start. Make sure to take a moment to appreciate the significance of this location.

Continuing on, at 0.56 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter the picturesque picnic site of Izua, perfect for taking a break and enjoying the surroundings. As you approach the 2.05-kilometer mark, you'll reach the peak of Garagoiti, offering stunning panoramic views of the area.

As you make your way back, be sure to stop by the Ixua hotela parking area for a convenient end to your hike. Along the trail, you'll also find useful amenities such as an information point, drinking water stations, and even a wheelchair-accessible restaurant named Ixua.
