This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding cascada del abuela. The route is an out-and-back trail with a total distance of 3.96 kilometers and no elevation gain, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

As you start your journey, you will pass by Parque Materredonda, a restaurant located just 0.04 kilometers from the trail. This is a great spot to grab a bite to eat or a drink before or after your hike. Continuing on, you will come across Parque Ecológico Mataredonda, an ecological park with various attractions just 0.05 kilometers from the trail. Be sure to check out the park's opening hours and any entrance fees if you wish to explore further.

Midway through the hike, at around 1.98 kilometers from the start, you will reach the stunning cascada del abuela waterfall. Take some time to admire the natural beauty and perhaps even cool off in the refreshing waters. Additionally, at 0.52 kilometers from the start, you can venture off the trail to reach a peak with breathtaking views of the surrounding area.
