As you begin your journey, you will pass by the Mémorial de la bataille de Laval, a historic memorial located right by the trailhead. Further along the trail, at a distance of 2.26 kilometers from the start, you will come across a fountain where you can take a quick break and refill your water bottle.

Continuing onwards, at the 2.29 kilometer mark, you will encounter another water feature before reaching a parking area at the 3.53 kilometer point. This is a good spot to take a rest and have a snack before reaching the highlight of the hike, Lac de Guio, which is located 5 kilometers from the start. Here you can relax by the tranquil waters and enjoy a well-deserved break.
