The Kartenspielerweg is a circular hiking route that spans approximately 9.9 kilometers with no elevation gain. This route is considered to be of difficult level due to its length and can be completed in about 3 to 4 hours.

As you start your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the trail. At the beginning of the route, you will find a parking area located 4.03 kilometers from the start. You can also find another parking area right at the start of the trail for your convenience.

As you continue your hike, at around 2.14 kilometers into the route, you will find benches providing a perfect spot to take a rest and enjoy the surrounding nature. Additionally, there are historical sites and archaeological sites along the trail, offering a glimpse into the area's rich cultural past. These sites are located midway through the hike, approximately 2.83 to 3.33 kilometers from the start.

For sustenance and refreshments, there are restaurants and a drinking water facility located off the trail. These places offer a great opportunity to refuel and recharge for the rest of the hike.
