This challenging out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Lac Guillè in the Mercantour National Park. With a total distance of 10.727 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1076 meters, this hike is not for the faint of heart. The estimated duration of the hike is 5 hours and 10 minutes.

Starting at the designated parking area, the trail will lead you through beautiful mountain scenery, with the pristine Lac Guillè as your ultimate destination. Along the way, you will pass by several points of interest. Approximately 1.56 kilometers from the start, you will come across an information point where you can learn more about the area.

As you continue on, at around 4.44 kilometers from the start, you will reach Col du Guilié, a scenic saddle in the Mercantour. Further along the trail, at 4.64 kilometers, you will find another water source before reaching Col du Mercantour Ouest at 4.19 kilometers.

Midway through the hike, at 5.18 kilometers, you will encounter Col de Maute, another picturesque saddle along the route. Finally, after a challenging trek, you will reach the breathtaking Lac Guillè at 5.36 kilometers from the start.
