This difficult 4.2-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will lead you to the beautiful Refuge de Varan in a picturesque area. The trail starts at Via Ferrata Parking N. 2 and gradually ascends, offering stunning views along the way.
As you begin your hike, you'll pass by an alpine hut called Refuge de Varan, where you can take a break and enjoy the serene surroundings. Further along the trail, you'll come across drinking water stations at various points to refill your bottles.
Midway through the hike, you'll find a bench to rest and take in the panoramic views of the area. The trail also leads you to informative signage about the region's history and natural features, including the Cascade de Zeta and the Sentier du Petit Balcon.
