The Piste des Cascades trail is a beautiful out-and-back route that spans approximately 2.43 kilometers with an elevation gain of 115 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels. The trail takes hikers through a picturesque area with stunning waterfalls and lush greenery.
Starting at the parking area, hikers will embark on their journey, passing by the Bar des Cascades located just 0.51 kilometers from the start, offering a convenient spot to grab a quick snack or drink before continuing on. Further along the trail at 1.05 kilometers from the start, hikers will come across a drinking water station and an information point providing insights into the local area.
Midway through the hike at around 1.13 kilometers from the start, hikers will encounter the majestic Cascade du Nant Large and Cascade du Déchargeux waterfalls, creating a perfect backdrop for a rest and photo opportunity. As hikers make their way back, they can stop by the wayside cross located at the start of the trail to admire this historic feature.
