As you continue onwards, you'll come across a refreshing spring at the same location, offering a chance to refill your water bottles.

Around 1.15 kilometers into the hike, you'll find a mesmerizing waterfall, although it is not directly on the trail. As you approach the refuge, approximately 1.66 kilometers into the hike, you'll encounter the picturesque Alpage de Véran, adding to the charm of the journey.

At a distance of 1.84 kilometers from the start, you will reach Refuge de Véran, a cozy alpine hut open during the months of July and August. This serves as a perfect turnaround point for an out-and-back hike, offering a chance to relax before heading back.
