As you venture further along the path, you will encounter the historic Schloss Mochental castle, situated just 0.07 kilometers from the starting point. About 1.01 kilometers into the hike, you will reach a tranquil water feature, providing a peaceful spot to rest and enjoy the serene surroundings. Continuing onwards, at the 1.55-kilometer mark, you will find more water points along the trail, perfect for rehydrating and refreshing yourself.

For sustenance options, a restaurant called Schloß-Stüble Mochental is conveniently located 0.23 kilometers into the route, offering a place to grab a meal or a snack. Additionally, there are benches scattered along the trail at the 1.01-kilometer mark, providing a comfortable resting spot for tired hikers.

As the Kirchener Weg trail is an out-and-back route, hikers will retrace their steps on the way back, allowing for a unique perspective of the surroundings.
