Welcome to the hiking route to Peña los Quesos! This trail offers a scenic and easy hike through the beautiful area surrounding the peak.
At the beginning of the trail, you will find the Casa del Parque, a great information center where you can learn more about the local flora and fauna. Further along, you'll pass by the Venta Marcelino, a charming restaurant where you can grab a bite to eat.
Midway through the hike, you'll come across the Mirador de Lucio, a wonderful viewpoint that offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. As you continue on, you'll reach the Fuente Cubeiro and Fuente Bernaldo Quirós, providing a refreshing stop with natural spring water.
Towards the end of the hike, you'll reach the highlight of the trail, the Peña los Quesos peak. Enjoy the breathtaking views from the top before heading back the way you came.
This out-and-back route spans approximately 3.6 kilometers and includes 173 meters of elevation gain. The trail is rated as easy, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.
