This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area around the Refuge de Bostan. The trail is 6.671 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 633 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 3 hours and 7 minutes to complete.
As you set off on your journey, you will pass by the Plan des Arches parking area, which is located right at the beginning of the trail. This is a convenient spot to park your car before starting the hike. Along the way, you will also come across the Croix de Bostan wayside cross, a historic site located 2.44 kilometers from the start of the trail. Further along, at the 2.33 kilometer mark, you will see the Chalets de Bostan, a group of traditional wooden chalets.
At the 2.37 kilometer mark, there is a drinking water station where you can refill your water bottles to stay hydrated on your journey. As you continue your ascent, you will pass by the Rocher d'Escalade, a natural rock formation located at the midway point of the trail. Be sure to take in the stunning views from this vantage point.
At the 3.33 kilometer mark, you will reach the Refuge de Bostan, where you can take a rest and enjoy a meal before heading back along the same trail. On your way back, you can stop by the Forêt de Bostan, a picturesque forest area located 1.67 kilometers from the start of the trail.
