This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Saurüssel. The trail is 2.065 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 77 meters, making it an easy hike that can be completed in around 40 minutes.

As you start your journey, you'll pass by Maria Gern, a lovely restaurant just 0.1 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Along the way, you'll find benches to rest at 1.03 kilometers into the hike, as well as the Marxenhöhe viewpoint in the same area.

For those driving to the trailhead, there are several parking options available. P1 is located right at the start of the trail, while PP GH Maria Gern is 0.09 kilometers away. Keep in mind that P2 is not directly on the trail, so you may need to walk a bit further to reach the starting point.

Midway through the hike, you'll come across the Saurüssel peak, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area. Further along, you'll find benches and informational points to learn more about the area's history and wildlife.
