This hiking route takes you through the stunning area surrounding Kakukk-hegyi vadászház. Spanning a distance of 17.638 kilometers with an elevation gain of 321 meters, this extremely difficult route will challenge even the most experienced hikers.

Along the way, you will encounter several points of interest. Approximately 8.82 kilometers from the start, you will come across a refreshing spring next to the Kakukk-hegyi vadászház. This is a great spot to rest and replenish your water supply. Further along at the same distance, you will find the Kakukk-hegyi vadászház alpine hut, offering a cozy retreat for weary hikers.

As you continue on, about 7.15 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Refugiul montan Vârful Cucu shelter. This is a good place to take a break and enjoy the scenic views before heading back on the trail.

It's important to note that this route is an out-and-back trail, so you will retrace your steps on the way back.
