This hiking route takes you to the stunning area of Artatxu, known for its picturesque peaks and natural beauty. The trail is 14.184 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 281 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that is recommended for experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you will find a convenient parking area at the beginning of the trail. Along the way, you will come across a tranquil bench where you can take a rest and admire the breathtaking views. About 0.81 kilometers into the hike, you will reach this scenic spot where you can take a break before continuing your adventure.
As you trek further, you will find multiple drinking water stations along the trail to keep you hydrated. These stations are located at varying distances, with the closest one being 3.845 kilometers from the start. It is advisable to carry enough water with you as well, especially on such a challenging trek.
Midway through the hike, approximately at the 5.64-kilometer mark, another drinking water station is available for hikers. This is a perfect opportunity to refill your water bottles and take a breather before tackling the remainder of the trail.
As you approach the peak of Artatxu at 7.09 kilometers from the start, you will be rewarded with panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Take your time to enjoy the scenery before retracing your steps back to the starting point.
