Welcome to this easy hiking route in the beautiful area of Šumava. This out-and-back trail covers a distance of 3.583 kilometers with no elevation gain, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.
Starting at the parking area at the trailhead, you'll embark on a pleasant walk through the forest. Just 0.06 kilometers from the start, you'll come across a natural water source, perfect for refilling your water bottle. As you continue on, at 0.79 kilometers from the start, you'll find another water spot close to the trail.
Around the 1.79-kilometer mark, you'll encounter the ruins of a historic lime kiln, adding a touch of heritage to your journey. Nearby, there's a restaurant called Resort Šumava Javorná where you can stop for a meal or refreshments.
Along the way back, take a moment to appreciate the wayside shrine and memorial at the beginning of the trail, adding a cultural element to your outdoor experience. Before finishing your hike, stop by the Buchar information point at 0.82 kilometers from the start for any last-minute insights about the area.
