This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Sendero Salto de Cabrero. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 6.734 kilometers and an elevation gain of 207 meters, making it of moderate difficulty.
As you start your hike, you will come across the Calera viewpoint at around 2.01 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This viewpoint offers a stunning vantage point to take in the surrounding scenery. Further along the trail, at approximately 3.37 kilometers from the start, you will encounter another viewpoint that provides breathtaking views of the area.
Although not directly on the trail, there are two peaks that you may spot along the way. The first peak is about 3.19 kilometers from the start, and the second peak is around 2.86 kilometers from the beginning of the trail.
