The Hermit's Peak Trail is an extremely difficult 12.185-kilometer out-and-back hiking route with an elevation gain of 866 meters and a duration of approximately 4 hours and 59 minutes. The trail is located in a picturesque area with stunning viewpoints and natural landmarks.

Starting at the Trailhead Parking, hikers will embark on a challenging journey towards Hermit Peak. Along the way, at the beginning of the trail, you will pass by the El Porvenir Campground, offering a potential resting spot for weary travelers. As you continue onwards, make sure to stop at the viewpoint to take in the breathtaking scenery around you.

Around the 6.09-kilometer mark, you will reach Hermit Peak, a prominent peak in the region offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Take a moment to rest and enjoy the sense of accomplishment before heading back.

On the way back, you can stop by Hermit's Spring at the 5.44-kilometer mark, a natural spring that provides a refreshing break for hikers. Additionally, along the trail, there are information points where you can learn more about the history and wildlife of the area.
