This challenging 11.095-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you to the majestic Serre de Quintillan in the picturesque area. The trail starts at a parking area, conveniently located at the beginning of the route, making it easy to access. As you make your way along the path, you will encounter the stunning peak of Serre de Quintillan, located approximately 5.55 kilometers from the start. This scenic spot offers breathtaking views and is a great place to take a break and soak in the natural beauty around you.

Further along the trail, at around 3.66 kilometers from the start, you will come across the Col de Tauleplette, a peaceful saddle that provides a perfect vantage point to admire the surrounding landscape. This midpoint of the hike offers a great opportunity to rest and refuel before continuing on your journey.

With an elevation gain of 448 meters, this hike is considered difficult and is best suited for experienced hikers. Be sure to wear sturdy hiking shoes, bring plenty of water, and check the weather forecast before setting out on this adventure. The entire route typically takes about 3 hours and 41 minutes to complete, but the stunning views and sense of accomplishment make it well worth the effort.
