This extremely difficult 13.013-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through the stunning area around Pech de Guilloumet.
Starting at a parking area, you'll embark on your journey and pass by the Château de Villerouge-Termenès, a historic castle located 0.23 kilometers from the trail. As you continue, you'll come across the ruins of Pèle-Figues, situated 4.29 kilometers from the start of the route.
During your adventure, you'll also encounter Les Baraques ruins at the 4.68-kilometer mark and the Col d'En Paris, a natural saddle, at the 3.5-kilometer point. Take a moment to appreciate the memorial located 0.3 kilometers from the start and the peak of Pech de Guilloumet at 6.38 kilometers into the hike.
Along the way, you'll find sustenance options such as La rôtisserie Médiévale and La Taverne for a well-deserved break. These restaurants are around 0.12 kilometers from the trail.
Although the distance covered is not extensive, the elevation gain of 389.0 meters makes this hike quite challenging. Make sure to bring enough water, check the weather forecast before setting out, and wear appropriate hiking gear.
