This hiking route is set in a picturesque area with stunning views and diverse natural surroundings. The trail covers a distance of approximately 10.5 kilometers with an elevation gain of 930 meters, making it a challenging but rewarding hike.

As you begin your journey, you will come across a parking area where you can leave your vehicle and start the trek. Along the way, you will pass by the Hotel Choč wilderness hut, which is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the surrounding nature. Further ahead, you will reach the peak of Veľký Choč, offering panoramic views of the area.

Throughout the hike, you will also encounter several points of interest such as viewpoints, information boards about the local flora and fauna, springs for refreshing breaks, and shelters for resting. Make sure to bring enough water and snacks as there are limited facilities along the trail.

At the halfway point, you will find a restaurant called Jánošíkova krčma where you can refuel before continuing your journey. As you near the end of the trail, you will pass by the memorial site of Spominame na Jozefa 1986 and reach the endpoint of the circular route, zimná cesta.
