This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Cáñar, starting and ending at Puente Palo. The trail is relatively short, covering a distance of 1.342 kilometers with an elevation gain of 70 meters, making it a super easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area conveniently located right at the beginning of the trail. About two-thirds into the hike, you will find two water sources where you can rest and replenish your hydration supplies. Along the way, there are also several viewpoints where you can stop and admire the breathtaking scenery.
For sustenance, there are options available midway through the hike, including a restaurant named Restaurante Bar Piqui. Additionally, there are drinking water fountains scattered along the trail to keep you hydrated.
Before embarking on this hike, ensure you have an ample water supply and check the weather forecast to prepare accordingly. The route is an out-and-back type, so you will retrace your steps back to the starting point at Puente Palo.
