Welcome to the hiking trail in Grande-Rivière-Château! This circular route spans 4.723 kilometers and offers an easy level of difficulty with no elevation gain.
As you embark on this picturesque journey, you will come across several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find the "Sentier de la Tourbière" parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before starting the hike. As you continue, you will encounter "Le Pont des Janiers," an informational landmark providing insight into the local area.
Midway through the hike, you will stumble upon a beautiful fountain known as "Life tourbières du Jura," offering a serene spot to rest and rejuvenate. Further along, at the 1.1-kilometer mark, you will find the "Saule à cinq étamines (Salix pentandra)" information point, providing interesting facts about the flora in the region.
Towards the end of the trail, approximately 1.59 kilometers from the start, you will reach "Le Pontet," another informative spot where you can learn more about the surroundings. Finally, as you complete the trail, make sure to visit "Prénovel de Bise" located 1.92 kilometers from the starting point, for a perfect conclusion to your hiking adventure.
