Welcome to the Orla Perć hiking route! This challenging 11.9 km trail will take you on an unforgettable journey through the stunning Tatra Mountains in Poland.
Starting at the parking area, you will begin your ascent towards the first point of interest, the alpine hut known as Schronisko PTTK w Dolinie Pięciu Stawów Polskich, located 5.12 km into the hike. This is a great spot to refuel and rest before continuing on. Along the way, you will also pass by the beautiful Mały Staw Polski and Przedni Staw Polski, offering picturesque views of the surrounding nature.
As you venture further, you will come across Małe Morskie Oko, Małe Żabie Oko, and Żabie Oko, all stunning bodies of water that provide a refreshing break during your hike. Be sure to keep an eye out for Wrzące Źródło, a natural spring perfect for filling up your water bottle.
Throughout the hike, you will encounter various peaks and saddles, including Wyżnia Kopa, Niżnia Kopa, Świstowe Siodło, and Świstowy Przechód, offering panoramic views of the Tatra Mountains. Additionally, there are information points scattered along the trail to provide you with interesting insights into the area.
As you reach the turnaround point, you can choose to rest at Szałasiska campsite before making your way back to the starting point. The entire route will take approximately 4 hours and 27 minutes to complete, so be sure to pack plenty of water, snacks, and dress in layers for changing weather conditions.
