This hiking route takes you through the stunning wilderness of Pays Basque, offering breathtaking views and challenging terrain. The trail is 12.421 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 1256 meters, making it extremely difficult and suitable for experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you'll come across the Cayolar de Pista Pékoa wilderness hut around 1.75 kilometers from the trailhead, offering a perfect spot for a rest. Continuing along the trail, you'll encounter the Otsogorrigaina peak at 4.83 kilometers, providing a great vantage point to admire the surrounding landscapes.
Around the midway point at 6.21 kilometers, you'll find Otsogorritxipia peak and the Tumulus Otxogorritxipia archaeological site, adding a touch of history to your adventure. Further along the trail, at 4.33 kilometers, you'll reach the Üthürurdineta portilloa saddle, offering a unique natural feature to explore.
