This hiking route takes you to the stunning Orhitxipia peak in the beautiful area of Larrau. The trail is 3.115 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 336 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Aparcamiento del Puerto de Larrau, a parking area, conveniently located at the beginning of the trail. Further along, you will pass by historic boundary stones Mugarrien 237, providing a glimpse into the area's past.

Around the midway point, you will encounter information points about the GR 12 Senda Euskalherria, offering insights into the local culture and history. Continuing on, you will reach the saddle of Larraineko mendatea, a natural formation adding to the scenic beauty of the surroundings.
