This hiking route on Route de Trezioux offers a challenging yet rewarding experience for outdoor enthusiasts. The 14.134-kilometer trail with an elevation gain of 141 meters takes about 3 hours and 37 minutes to complete, making it extremely difficult due to its length and elevation.
Starting at the parking area located at the beginning of the trail, hikers can make their way through the stunning natural surroundings. About 0.7 kilometers into the hike, you will come across a water source, providing a refreshing break for those in need of hydration. As you continue on, at around the 5.78-kilometer mark, another water spot is available to replenish your supplies.
Midway through the trail, at approximately 6.92 kilometers from the start, you will find another water feature, offering a picturesque setting to rest and enjoy the scenery. Further along at 6.94 kilometers from the beginning, hikers will encounter two more water sources, making it convenient to refill water bottles and take a moment to relax.
For a peaceful break, around 5.51 kilometers from the start, there is a picnic site called Aire de Pique-Nique, providing a perfect spot to sit down and enjoy a meal surrounded by nature.
