This challenging 5.736-kilometer circular hiking route takes you through the stunning landscape surrounding Lac de la Lanche. Starting at the parking area, you'll immediately be immersed in the natural beauty of the area.
As you make your way along the trail, you'll come across various points of interest. About midway through your hike, you'll reach Lac de la Lanche, a picturesque lake where you can take a moment to rest and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Continuing on, you'll encounter Col de la Lanche, a saddle that offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.
Along the way, you'll also find opportunities to refill your water supply at drinking water points and even a free flying site at Décollage de l'Ébaudiaz, where you can watch paragliders take off.
Information points and picnic sites are scattered throughout the route, providing you with a chance to learn more about the area and take a break to refuel. A spring and additional drinking water points are located at 1.59 kilometers from the start, so you can stay hydrated throughout your journey.
Although this hike is difficult due to its elevation gain of 523 meters, the stunning views and diverse points of interest make it a rewarding experience for those looking for a challenge.
