This hiking route takes you to the beautiful area of Monte Gurca / Kontovelski hrib. The trail is considered super easy, with a distance of 1.624 kilometers and an elevation gain of 33 meters, making it a great option for hikers of all levels.

As you start your hike, you will come across several points of interest along the trail. At the beginning, you will find a parking area and a fountain, perfect for filling up your water bottle before the hike. Further along the trail, you will pass by a cafe named Barcobaleno and a restaurant called Bar Ristorante Casa del Pellegrino, where you can stop for a meal or a snack.

Midway through the hike, you will reach the peak of Monte Gurca / Kontovelski hrib, offering stunning views of the surrounding area. It is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the scenery.

On the way back, you can visit the peak of Monte Grisa / Griža, another beautiful natural landmark in the area. Along the trail, you will also find a viewpoint and a memorial to Arcivescovo Monsignor Antonio Santin.
