This challenging hiking route will take you to Mendixuri, where you can enjoy stunning views and beautiful natural surroundings. The trail covers a distance of 7.914 kilometers and includes an elevation gain of 250 meters. It is estimated to take about 2 hours and 27 minutes to complete.
As you begin your hike, you will come across a parking area about 0.0 kilometers from the start of the trail. Be sure to park your vehicle here before embarking on your journey. Around 1.62 kilometers into the hike, you will find a water source off the trail. It's a good opportunity to refill your water bottles and stay hydrated.
Continuing on, at around 1.58 kilometers into the hike, there is an information point where you can learn more about the area and its surroundings. This can be a great place to take a rest and appreciate the views.
On your way back, at approximately 2.65 kilometers from the start, you will come across the peak called Arritxipi. Although it is slightly off the trail, it offers a beautiful vantage point and is worth the detour. Finally, at 3.96 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Mendixuri, the destination of your hike.
