This extremely difficult hiking route takes you along the ER 124 in Tavira, covering a distance of 12.49 kilometers with an elevation gain of 254 meters. The total duration of the hike is estimated to be around 3 hours and 31 minutes.

Starting from the trailhead, you will pass by various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a parking area for your convenience. As you continue, you will come across a picnic site where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings.

Midway through the hike, you will encounter a shelter for some rest and relief from the elements. Nearby, there is a drinking water station to keep you hydrated throughout your journey. Additionally, there are more picnic sites scattered along the trail for you to stop and refuel.

Towards the end of the hike, you will find another shelter to rest before heading back. Keep in mind that the Fonte Férrea do Cachopo spring is located slightly off the trail, offering a natural water source.
