As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area at the trailhead. From there, the trail leads you to various points of interest. About 1.53 kilometers into the hike, you will reach Cerro Picacho, the peak that offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
Along the way, at approximately 1.4 kilometers from the start, you will encounter an archaeological site with great historical significance. Further ahead, at 1.17 kilometers, there is another archaeological site to explore. Additionally, at 0.87 kilometers, you will find another archaeological site with the potential for further excavation.
While trekking, you may spot the Cristo Del Picacho monument located about 1.53 kilometers from the start, slightly off the main trail. If you need a break or refreshment, there are sustenance options such as an ice cream parlor at 0.05 kilometers, a restaurant called Estadero y Asados la Y located at the same distance, and a fast-food spot midway through the hike.
