This hiking route will take you through the stunning mountainous area surrounding Rifugio Passo Principe - Grasleitenpasshütte. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 4.335 kilometers and an elevation gain of 331 meters, making it of moderate difficulty. It is estimated to take around 1 hour and 49 minutes to complete.

As you start your hike, you will come across Rifugio Preuss, a restaurant and alpine hut located just 0.06 kilometers from the trail. Further along the trail, at a distance of 0.04 kilometers, you will find Rifugio Vajolet, another alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings.

About midway through the hike, at 2.17 kilometers from the start, you will reach Rifugio Passo Principe - Grasleitenpasshütte, offering accommodation and breathtaking views of the area. Additionally, you will pass by Passo Principe - Grasleitenpass, a natural saddle point, at a distance of 2.14 kilometers from the start.
